As 2017 comes to a close, and the financial services team are fresh from celebrating at the UK Christmas Party, we look back at what has been another impressive year at Morgan McKinley.
This time last year we were thrilled with great figures from 2016; despite all the economic and political uncertainty, 2017 has turned out to be even better. With a 21% increase in NFI, it has been one of the best years we’ve ever had, and on top of that there have been 8 promotions in the team!
The financial services team are testament to the company culture as a whole. The fact that only two people have left the department in the past year displays not only the success of the teams, but the great level of rapport between consultants, managers and directors alike. This combination makes for successful, driven teams that constantly get results.
The collaborative approach within the business is reflected in our dedication to long-term relationships with our consultants, clients and candidates.
Being able to display such impressive year-on-year retention is quite an achievement in any industry, let alone recruitment which is notorious for high levels of employee turnover.
We must be doing something right; our progress is reflected by the small amount of departures against numerous promotions within the financial services perm team. It is something to be proud of and a major contributing factor to this year's success.
With the same talented individuals (and a few new faces) all working together, we are confident that our increasingly impressive run is going to extend into 2018 and beyond. I hope I’ll be writing a similar post a year down the line, shouting about yet another record beating year for the FS division!
