Ian began his Morgan McKinley career in Dublin 2011 working in the IT Recruitment Division. He went on to lead the IT Contracts division to becoming one of most successful teams in Morgan McKinley globally. Over the years he has built a strong network of both clients and senior technology leaders at the same time accumulating an in-depth knowledge of the technology markets around the world, and is now responsible for the strategic growth of Morgan McKinley's Technology division within Canada.

I’ve worked in recruitment since 1999 across both contract and permanent desks. Contracting, I’ve built up a contract book of over 180 contractors, and on a permanent desk I’ve worked all levels of roles up to C-Suite and run executive search processes with CEO’s and MD’s.

I’m passionate about helping people achieve their career ambitions. I love supporting people throughout their career with advice, guidance, support, coaching, networking. I’ve led teams for over 15 years, my natural style is coaching, which comes from playing a lot of sport in my younger years, challenging people to push themselves and holding them to account to get there. I currently mentor 2 people external to Morgan McKinley, one GM of a private recruitment business and one executive recruiter who has recently set up her own business.

I love technology, innovation, process improvement, marketing and improving our customer experience. I’ve been fortunate to work on a range of projects across our business to improve each of these areas and contribute to the success of the business.

My name is Ajay, and I'm from the Southern part of India. Qualified with an MBA in HRM and PGPBM in Marketing. I started my recruitment career in 2015 working for a leading US Staffing firm.
