The Morgan McKinley East Coast Challenge!

As part of the #mmkmillion, which is a global campaign we launched In 2016, our aim is to raise a million Euros for our chosen charities across the globe.

So what is this?

Our chosen charity here at MMK Australia is Batyr. Batyr is a for purpose organisation, created and driven by young people to remove the stigma around mental health.

To kick off our support to Batyr, the MMK Sydney office has decided to get their legs pumping and cycle from Sydney to Cairns, which is no mean feat for some of the less athletic individuals in the office!

Wow I hear you say, what an achievement and how can I support/be involved???? Please read on...

Why are we doing it?

Mental Health is unfortunately a growing issue in Australia with approximately one in every five people being affected by a mental illness making it the third disability burden in the country.

How are we doing it?

We will have two static bikes, which will be placed in the Morgan McKinley reception. The team will then proceed to cycle from Sydney to Cairns, this will be over 24 hours and we are predicting this will take 3 days & nights (and yes, we will be cycling through the night). All this / blood, sweat & tears, will be live streamed, which means you can keep yourself updated on the progress of your consultant.

How can you be involved/help?

There are a number of sponsorship or donation options available, for further information on this then please contact Asha Walsh on 8986 3100 or visit our ‘Go Fund Me’.

Please remember your generous donation are all tax deductible so please help us support such a great cause and help us impact the lives of many young Australians.
