How has this happened? We are halfway through 2015 already! Summer is here, even though the weather says otherwise.
This time of year is renowned for being a "little bit quiet" in the world of recruitment, but not at Morgan McKinley - things are busier and more exciting than ever! Both London and our regional offices saw a healthy increase in client jobs being worked in comparison to June of last year. Our Windsor office has even started recruiting into new disciplines since their relocation to a stunning new office in Maidenhead, as well as adding additional headcount to their successful teams.
Within our Global Talent Acquisition team we continue to assist business growth plans with a number of exciting projects including: revamping our internal referral scheme to make it more competitive, launching our monthly Global Opportunities bulletin to enhance transparency about internal business opportunities, as well as developing a Morgan McKinley Alumni and a view to hosting events towards the end of the year.
There’s a buzz in our UK offices as we approach our summer company event which will see the team climb on board a luxury boat on the Thames to enjoy an evening of entertainment, food and a few well deserved drinks.
In addition to this, we have an event for our high achievers: Global Services Stars and Value Heroes (where top performers and individuals who have gone above and beyond are recognised). The event will be held in Spitbank Fort, a unique hotel in the middle of the sea just off the coast of Portsmouth.
