4 Reasons why a Marketing Career at Morgan McKinley Should be your First Choice

Meet the Marketing Team. This week’s guest blogger is Marketer, Aimee Carmichael.

Find out why she thinks that a career in Marketing at Morgan McKinley is a sure fire way to further your career.

It could be said that every marketer’s dream is to work at a renowned company such as Saatchi. Now I haven’t worked at Saatchi so I can’t make a comparison,  but I can tell you 4 show stopping reasons why I believe Morgan McKinley is a great place to start, or further your career in marketing.

  1. Laissez-faire leadership style -  If you are reading this and you’ve worked in an agency or in-house at a corporate, then you might be familiar with the concept of micro management. Unfortunately, you’ll find little of this here because Morgan McKinley is a people business and we all work collaboratively to achieve the same goals. Sure, there is a hierarchy, but everyone is encouraged to take responsibility for their own projects and in marketing this really means you can make projects your own.

  1. Global Exposure – Morgan McKinley has a global presence across 10 countries. This means a career here will enable you to quickly gain international experience whether this means creating new process globally, running a global event, or designing for a variety of international websites!

  1. Fun – We get to cover a range of marketing activities: everything from events, social media, digital, PR, and much more, but, we do this with a smile. We’re constantly engaging with the whole business as each discipline, office, and individual has their own need for marketing support. The people on the team are unique and everything we do is fun.

  1. There is no such thing as ‘no’ - Have you ever devised an amazing idea only to be told it is not feasible, or worse, for someone to tell you they don’t like it without providing any constructive criticism as to why?  Well, it won’t happen here at Morgan McKinley because we encourage and mentor each other, and if something isn't quite right you can be confident that the other members of our team will help you find a solution that works!

If these 4 reasons have not persuaded you then take a further look around our careers website or our Facebook page to find out what we get up to as a company!
