Morgan McKinley is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Finance team in Cork.

Our Recruitment Consultants are experts in their disciplines. In Cork, we work within Accounting & Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction, Marketing, HR and Office Support. We want our consultants to be the go to people in the market.

As a Recruiter, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, matching high-quality candidates with a variety of roles. This is a fast-paced and rewarding position where you will build strong relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and gain a deep understanding of hiring needs through proactive sales and business development activities. You will source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards and social media, coordinate and conduct interviews, complete reference checks, and negotiate offers on behalf of candidates, ensuring a smooth and successful hiring experience for both clients and applicants.

Your role as a Recruitment Consultant

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly fee targets
  • Source candidates through advertising, direct search, and professional networking
  • Conduct candidate interviews, selection, and assessment
  • Carry out business development activities with both new and existing clients
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the finance market and sector recruited into
  • Prepare candidates and clients thoroughly for interviews
  • Deliver the highest level of service to all clients and candidates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records on the database system
  • Ensure all recruitment information is kept current and compliant

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven background in agency recruitment or sales is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with confidence to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
