In February our top performers in London were taken out for an afternoon of fun, relaxation and fine dining.
Well, sort of… 6 of our our top performers for the quarter, accompanied by our COO Chris Leeson, headed over to La Cucina Caldesi. But it wasn’t going to be five star chefs cooking, it was going to be them! They took part in an Italian cooking master class before going head to head to create one of the dishes from a full three course lunch, and that included making their own pasta!
Their chosen dish of choice was ravioli. If they wanted to eat, they had to stay cool, calm and collected, something surely this was something that top performing Recruitment Consultants could do easily? Learning from top Italian chefs they were able to quiz their chefs about the food, the ingredients and the best way to make their ravioli. Competing against each other to make the best ravioli certainly made this one of our most competitive High Flyer events yet. Florence Adams who went along, describes the event, “It was great fun. It was far more interactive than we initially thought the day was going to be and it was something different to do. I’ve never cooked with my colleagues before and the food was delicious!” So, the question is, what’s next for our High Flyers event? I don’t know for sure, but it seems to be the messier the event the better. Watch this space for more High Flyer events!
