Over the Rainbow

Over the past year in the UK, we’ve been raising funds for Rainbow Trust.

In the second half of last year, we raised just over £1500 by running a range of events, including bake sales, raffles and dress down days.

Being a recruitment company and always enjoying a target or two to hit, we decided that £1500 wasn’t enough and that in 2013 we were going to raise the bar and go for a bigger target.

So, this year, we decided that our target for the year is going to be a whopping £4000. 7 Months into the year and we are proud to announce that we have managed to raise a total of £3013.54!

How have we done it?

Instead of just doing the monthly dress down days in the office, we decided to shake things up with more bake sales, raffles with fantastic prizes and group events. Even our own consultants took the charge and have participated in numerous events across the UK including the Nuts Challenge and London Marathon! Find out how the Guildford office braved the cold and wet in the Nuts Challenge earlier this year here.

Why are we doing it?

We know the importance of giving back to our community and helping those in need. The Rainbow Trust is a charity that help families with children who have a terminal or life threatening disease. With outreach programmes across the UK ranging from providing sibling and parent support, bereavement and assisting with providing care in hospitals, Rainbow Trust are an invaluable service to any family going through such a difficult time.

We’re incredibly excited about working with Rainbow Trust and seeing the work that they are doing. Watch out for more blogs and photos to see how else we will be raising money.
