Hi! I am the Talent Acquisition Executive for the Tokyo office where I work closely with the business leaders to implement recruitment strategies to help them hire great talents.
I am originally from Toulouse, France. I graduated from the Linkoping University (Sweden) where I studied international business and Languages, (Japanese-English). I relocated to Japan in 2011 and enrolled in an intensive Japanese language course. I joined the recruitment industry in 2015 focusing on bilingual foreign and Japanese mid-career professionals, as well as assisting new graduates with their job search in Japan. In 2018 I made the decision to embark on a great journey with Morgan McKinley as the Talent Acquisition Executive for Japan
My top tip:
In Japan, when preparing yourself or preparing a candidate for an interview, how much you know about the company you are applying to will make a major difference in how successful your interview will be.
It sounds obvious but a number of professionals miss this crucial preparation. Keep in mind that when applying, you are looking for a win-win situation, where you and the company can mutually benefit from each other. Align your career goals and the company mission/vision, research about its working culture, its short and long-term strategies, its values, and find a common point of interest. These steps will significantly increase your chances of success.
I have been playing the guitar and singing for more than 10 years. I also write my own music, and sometimes perform.
Japan has so many places to visit and so much to offer that since i relocated to japan, in 2011, I haven’t yet had chance to visit other cities in Asia.
