The La Crème division in Morgan McKinley Waterford are our highly successful office support recruitment division. We are currently looking for an experienced recruitment consultant to join the Waterford La Crème team.This is a maternity cover contract.

On the La Crème team you will be recruiting for roles such as administrators, office managers, receptionists, personal, executive assistants and customer service operators. The La Crème brand is a market leader and is synonymous with office support recruitment in the South East region.

The role of a recruitment consultant is to solve one of the biggest challenges facing most businesses: finding the right talent to fill key roles. Placing candidates into various industries, you will be in charge of the whole recruitment process. You'll be meeting and sourcing new clients by various sales and business development techniques and discovering their needs. Also you will be sourcing candidates using various methods such as job portals and social media, scheduling interviews, referencing and negotiating on your candidate's behalf. A recruiter's role is extremely busy and requires a blend of both sales and relationship building skills.

Job Description:

  • Achieving monthly and quarterly fee targets
  • Sourcing candidates through advertising, search and networking
  • Interviewing, selection and assessment of candidates
  • Business development activity targeting new and existing clients, including research, canvass calls, and quality calls
  • Developing and maintaining an expert knowledge of the specialist sector and market recruited in
  • Preparing candidates and clients for interview
  • Ensuring that all clients and candidates receive the highest possible level of service
  • Completing all candidate and client information on database system

Skills / Experience:

  • Degree educated or equivalent practical experience
  • Previous recruitment experience or proven track-record of working in a demanding sales/professional environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Previous commercial experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven relationship building skills in a sales capacity
  • Proven time management and organisational skills


  • Third level educated or equivalent professional experience
