Bid Preparation

  • Maintenance of sales/presentation 'library' to enable easy reference to latest value propositions and, existing and historical sales collateral.
  • Review and refresh existing written material, edit and make improvements with a focus on continual improvement
  • Read and understand the requirements in tender and proposal documents understanding the scope, background to request, and context of the proposal
  • Storyboard responses in line with agreed opportunity win strategy, ensuring client specific win themes and broader Abtran Value proposition are clearly articulated
  • Take ownership of preparing bid response / business proposal templates and working with the Bid Team and solution owners to understand the value proposition.
  • Preparation of presentation collateral to support bids/proposals and business development as required
  • Take on ownership of specific response sections and liaise with internal departments to capture the required information.
  • Liaise with Bid Manager and Graphic Designer to ensure strong connection between the written content and graphics, seeking to use info-graphics, charts and pictures to underline key solution and evidence points from the written submission
  • Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from operations, technical, finance, commercial, legal, and compliance.
  • Leverage the bid library efficiently to best articulate the solution.
  • Interact and engage with all levels within Abtran to achieve commitment to deadlines and cooperation in the provision of information.
  • Support the production stage of all proposals - including compliance requirements, formatting, editing, printing, and binding.
  • Make recommendations on how to improve win-rates by making bids more high-scoring and compelling to clients

Reporting

  • Communicate regular updates on changes sales library content and value propositions
  • Produce bid response / business proposal content progress updates to the Bid Team and Solution owners
  • Updating assigned records/actions in Salesforce (or equivalent system) as needed.

Productivity

  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Deliver on agreed targets on time.
  • Drive self to continually succeed and deliver customer and sales satisfaction.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure targets are met.
  • Understand and follow Sales Process, flagging progress of work - including risks.

Qualifications, Training, and Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office - Word and MS PowerPoint and proficient in MS Excel, MS Visio, and MS Project, MS Sharepoint.
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role with a proven ability to produce professional proposal documentation
  • Strong written English language skills.

Desired Qualifications, Training, and Experience:

  • Experience of the Business Process Outsourcing Industry.
  • Third level qualification in a Business or Marketing field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in using Salesforce.com (or equivalent system).
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a complex business environment, bringing together multiple stakeholders.
