An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Shanghai office, and we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our IT and Technology recruitment team.

So, what will I be doing?
Recruiting for large international companies, you will source and place IT professionals into permanent roles. You will provide advisory to clients on the current candidate market and manage the entire recruitment process from CV submission through to the job offer. You will be looking for IT Strategists, Creative Technologists, Software Developers, IT Support professionals and IT Project Managers across Financial Services and Commerce and Industry companies from middle to senior management levels.


As an experienced member of the team, you will have additional responsibilities as follows:

  • Developing new and existing business
  • Meeting clients and cross-selling the wider business
  • Contributing to marketing (blogs, events, media, marketing collateral)
  • Providing interview preparation sessions for candidates you have secured an interview for

What are we looking for:

  • You will have a proven track-record of working in a demanding sales environment in Mainland China.  
  • Previous recruitment consultant experience in Mainland China is essential – it can be in a different discipline than IT but you must have an interest in developing knowledge of the IT recruitment market.
  • You will hold excellent interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to build professional relationships.
  • Working in a fast paced environment, you will have a high level of time management and organisational skills.
  • Native level Mandarin Chinese language skills and Business level or above English language skills are essential.
